RPG Classical Creatures
The Bundle:
- You will receive the STL files ready to print.
- Each miniature comes with its respective base.
- All STL files were tested and printed on a 32mm scale, (using a Anycubic Photon Mono printer) resulting in very delicate and detailed miniatures.
- All STL files will be delivered with and without supports, so that you have the possibility of placing them to your liking, regardless of the printer you have.
Miniatures Included:
GRICK
“The Grick is a large worm-like creature, that lives away from sunlight. Their head was composed of a sharp beak surrounded by four tentacles. Gricks are almost always hungry and would seek to hunt anything that moves (except other gricks.)”
*Design inspired by the Grick illustration from DnD 4e Monster Manual book*
OWLBEAR
“An Owlbear is a large magical or fey beast that looks like a cross between an owl and a bear. Notoriously aggressive and ferocious, they are among the most feared predators in the wilderness.”
*Personal design, inspired by DnD lore and fan made illustrations*
DEMOGORGON
“Demogorgon is a powerful demon lord and lesser deity from the Abyss. He is known to most as the Prince of Demons, and is referred to as the Imprisoned One. The self-proclaimed title as Prince of Demons was won by virtue of power and influence; many demons challenged it but none could defeat Demogorgon and claim it.”
*Design inspired by the cover of the DnD book: “Out of the Abyss: Rage of Demons”. *
All models have been tested and optimized to be printed at resin 3D printers. The files will be delivered in two versions, WITH and WITHOUT SUPPORTS.
Printing the Miniatures:
I'm still not an expert in putting supports on the miniatures, but I got great results on the miniatures I have printed, as you can see in the photos below. But in any case, if you want to try a different setup, I'll also be sending all the Chitubox files I used to print each mini. In this way you will be able to add, remove or change the location of the supports, to obtain a result that you consider more interesting.
32mm scale Printed Miniatures
- The models printed on the 32mm scale are quite delicate. I recommend using pliers to carefully remove the supports after printing. A little sanding may be necessary to achieve the best results. If you want the models to be less fragile, we advise you to increase the scale of the characters.
- I not had the opportunity to do printing tests on FDM printers, so if you want to print on this type of printer, I cannot guarantee that you will not experience possible printing errors or unsatisfactory results.
